Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skin care process that uses salt crystals
to exfoliate and resurface the skin one layer at a time. It is safe and
effective treatment for all skin types including Asian, black and Hispanic,
and improves such conditions as sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, rough
skin, age spots, and irregular pigmentations.
This is a progressive process requiring a series of treatments, each
lasting from 30 to 45 minutes which should be done once a week for a period
of 4 to 6 weeks or more.
The treatment is administered through a hand held suction device that
delivers a fine mist of water and salt or crystals under positive and
negative pressure to gently nourish and exfoliate the skin revealing plumper,
younger cells while reducing fine lines, sun damage, large pores and irregular
pigmentations.
