PLASTIC SURGEON FEATURED ARTIST
AT ADDISON GALLERY

RATON, FLORIDA - More than 200 guests attended the recent reception
of Dr. Daniel Man, prominent Boca Raton Plastic Surgeon, noted author,
artist, inventor, educator and Humanitarian of the Year, who exhibited
several of his newest sculptures including the life-size, copper sculpture
"It Takes Two to Tango" at The Addison Gallery in Mizner Park. "It Takes
Two To Tango" was unveiled at the 2002 Miss Brazil USA Pageant, along
with it's companion, a seven foot bronze statue of Miss Brazil.
His paintings and sculptures have been previously exhibited at the Boca
Raton Museum of Art and Cunningham Artists Gallery,
as well as many locales and galleries throughout South Florida. His work
has also appeared on magazine covers and he was the first Plastic Surgeon
to have his painting "Blue Lady" selected for the cover of the prestigious
scientific Journal of Aesthetic Surgery. He was also a featured artist
in the February 2003 issue of South Florida Times Art and Cultural Magazine,
and he has been a guest lecturer discussing art and plastic surgery to
residents at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Division of Plastic
Surgery, Miami, Florida.
Among his most famous works, "The Handshake" (80" x 60" oil on canvas)
hung in the White House during the Clinton Administration. It was donated
in recognition of President Clinton's efforts to promote peace in the
Middle East.
His book, "The
New Art of Man: The Faces of Plastic Surgery", combining
his love of plastic surgery, his passion for art and his dedication to
his patients, contains over 50 photographs depicting his various paintings
and sculptures. This book is available on Amazon.com
